This book has detailed a variety of ways that specific Natural Humanist beliefs can be put into practice, and that various problems in the world can be overcome, but this is merely scratching at the surface.
Natural Humanists believe that, as a global family and community, they have a moral duty to address every one of the world’s problems, and to consider an unlimited number of different innovative ways to overcome each and every one of them, and then to publicise these solutions widely and, whenever appropriate, to ensure that as many of them as possible are implemented, monitored and gradually improved, to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness and to minimise any of their negative ‘side-effects’.
They believe that every Natural Humanist, and every human being, should constantly be trying to use their own knowledge, skills and imagination to try to suggest their own solutions, and to ‘fine tune’ other people’s solutions, to every one of the world’s problems, no matter how tiny or immense they may be, and that all of these ideas should be available for all to read and to supportively and constructively comment on, and to suggest improvements to, so that all contributors can be part of a global ‘Ideas Factory’, which, rather than producing materialistic and unethical products, produces the most valuable ‘products’ of all: hugely positive solutions to every one of the world’s problems.
Natural Humanists believe that no matter how imperfect the world may be, and how difficult it may seem to solve its many problems, to paraphrase Greta Thunberg, “We must take action. We must do the impossible. Because giving up is never an option”.
